Our Beliefs

We believe in a world where every child can be successful. Our mission is to invest in early childhood education in order to empower the next generation. At Casa Belen, we are dedicated to helping children and their families learn with each other. We do that by tutoring at-risk children ages 8-16 inMath, Spanish and English, pre-school for ages 3-5 and little kid English class for ages 6 and 7. We provide mental health counseling for a nominal fee by our in-house psychologist. We also give breakfast kits to our students as many of our families are food insecure. We ask the parents to help out around the facility. Many parents choose to help clean or support the tutoring sessions.

Being a volunteer at Casa Belen has become a part of my daily life, the families and staff have welcomed me as part of their family. I have grown personally as a part of my volunteer experience. I am happy to know that I can help kids to find hope in their future.
